Romance in my eyes Ch. 3

His lips felt hot and soft against mine. My breathing was embarrassingly out of control. Lucky for me, he had gotten a divorce. Though the thought of me being the new Mrs. Mikey Way was lovely, I couldn’t help but feel this was an accident.

He lifted his lips off mine as someone walked through the door. We sat up quickly; he fixed my hair where it had been messed up. I was still tingling from the effects of his kiss.

“Mikey,” Gerard said walking through the door and heading to the coffee machine, “stop trying to seduce her!” He laughed and then coughed a bit. Gerard had been slightly sick with a cold for the past week.

Mikey just laughed, “She made me do it.” He smiled as he pointed at me. I playfully bit his finger. He yelped and slid away from me on the couch. Until now I hadn’t noticed how close we had been sitting.

His arm had been so close it was touching mine, his hand had gently grazed the back of mine. I could smell his high amounts of hairspray. I laughed at my thoughts and he gave me a questioning look. “Mikey you were sitting so close I could smell your hairspray.”

Gerard laughed and spilled a little coffee. I stood and got the mop from the closet, “I’ll get it. I swear looking after you guys is like having 5 children.” I smiled and whacked Gee with the mop forgetting that it was wet.

Mikey burst out laughing at the convenient placement of water on Gerard’s pants. “Looks like you had an accident brother.” He said pointing to the wet spot on the front of Gerard’s pants.

Gerard flipped Mikey off and walked outside. I could hear the laughter from Bob and Ray. Frank had apparently jumped on Gerard because I heard him yelling for Frank to get off.

Giggling I turned my eyes to Mikey who was walking towards me. He wrapped an arm around me and gave me a hug. I longed for the hugs he gave me, not only because of my ‘little’ crush, but because they made me feel safe.

Hot breath went on my ear as he whispered, “I love you Adien.” My face flushed.
