Romance in my eyes Chapter 4

“Mi-mikey…” my voice was barely even a whisper. I could not think straight after that. I knew I loved him, but to know that my idol loved me. That was just perfect.

“Shh,” he said putting a finger to my lips, “you don’t have to say anything. It is all in your eyes.”

With that, he took his finger off my lips and pressed his to mine. Warmth filled my body, and it felt like my heart was going to explode. I held my breath so I would not gasp for air. My lungs allowed me to take in just enough air to bring in his sweet sent. I choked it all down.

My eyes drifted shut, no longer afraid that his face will disappear. I hoped that if this were the dream I thought it was, I would not wake up. I would not let myself. I sighed when his lips moved away from mine. That last moment seemed like it took hours. Hours of pure passion.

“Mikey,” I started, “I love you too.” I smiled as he kissed my cheek and sat next to me. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close to him. I laid my head down against his chest. It was warm, I was in heaven.

My heaven ended when Gerard and the others came in. Mikey acted quickly. His arm slipped from around me. He looked into my eyes, “I love you.” He mouthed turning to his brother and band mates.

“Hey love birds.” Frank laughed as he walked in. I smiled and blushed, but hid it under my hair. Mikey had smiled and laughed.

“Only in my…her…dreams.” He smiled and nudged me to laugh. I did as he wanted and decided the time was right to be a smart ass.

“I don’t want to know about your dreams…” I said laughing. The boys joined in with a few smart comments of their own.
